We, as freight forwarders have a team of trained staff who can provide the service of customs declaration also known as a Permit to our customers for both import and export shipments. The Permit is a documented permission pass that a national customs authority grants to imported goods so that they can enter the country, or to exported goods so that they can leave the country.
All goods imported/exported into/from Singapore are regulated under the following Act(s):
*Customs Act
*The Goods and Service Tax (GST) Act
*The Regulation of Imports and Exports Act
*Strategic Goods (Control) Act, and
*Other legislation by the relevant Competent Authorities (CAs).
Imported goods are subject to GST and/or duty payment. A Customs permit is a proof that all applicable customs duties have been paid for the cargo that has been granted approval to enter Singapore for distribution, fulfilling any licensing requirements (as applicable) from the various competent authorities.
For import shipments, as a customs clearance service provider, we offer one stop solution from the point when the shipment arrived at Singapore port to door delivery, right up to our customers’ premises, ensuring that GST and duties are paid on behalf through our own in-house Giro System with the Port Authority. Importers do not have to go through the hassle of making payments to various different parties before receiving the cargo at their door step. We shall be their main point of contact throughout the tedious clearance process.
To export goods from Singapore, exporters are required to declare the goods to Singapore Customs in the form of export declaration, aka export permit. Goods and Services Tax (GST) and duty are not levied on goods exported from Singapore. Exported cargo also go through the same regulatory check as per imported cargo.
For export shipments, our services will start from point of booking which include trucking, stuffing, pick up, processing bill of lading and export permit declaration until goods are safely exported out to final consignee.
Our team will be a good source to seek advice on cargo that is restricted or controlled by relevant authorities (Cas) for both import/export due to availability of our in-house trade web system.
At Everprime, we provide a one-stop hassle free customs clearance experience where you can rely on.
